Join us Saturday February 28th, 9am-noon for our first regular planting party of the season at the Skagit River in South Mount Vernon.

This site, outside the dike at the Mount Vernon wastewater treatment plant, has been undergoing transformation from field to wooded riverbank, and the process is ongoing.  Help us restore this riparian forest!

We provide tools, gloves, hot drinks and snacks!

This is a great opportunity for those looking for teaching experience, or just an opportunity to get outside and have fun!

We’ll start with an overview of our school-based education programs and then head to the creek to learn about field trip lessons and coordination.

Sign up to help with one or more classroom lessons or field trips through December.
