Join us in looking for spawning Chinook and coho salmon! On October 12th from noon-3pm we’ll be by the Marblemount Hatchery searchin’ for salmon. Once you’re there, follow the driveway to a large parking lot and look for our tent! RSVP HERE!

October 18 is Orca Recovery Day!  Each year around this date Skagit Fisheries holds an event like tree planting or salmon viewing to continue to restore Skagit salmon and to raise awareness of the challenges faced by Southern Resident Killer Whales, who rely on Skagit salmon as a food source.

Join us from noon to 3pm on October 18th at Clark Creek in hopes of seeing spawning coho and Chinook salmon! We can’t make promises about seeing wild animals, but this is typically a good place to see spawners.

Participants at this event will receive a code for 2 free tickets to the Seattle Modern Orchestra’s performance of Among the Trees: Sonic Ecology in the Anthropocene

Visit the  Orca Recovery Day  website for more info and more ideas for action

No need to RSVP for this event, but check back here for any weather-related changes event updates.
