Healthy salmon need healthy land. Protecting the Skagit River means caring for the forests, floodplains, and riverbanks that salmon depend on — and that’s exactly what our land stewardship work is about. We partner with landowners, agencies, and neighbors across the valley through two core programs: managing conservation properties with Seattle City Light, and helping landowners tackle invasive knotweed before it takes over.
Explore the links to learn more about these programs and if you are a landowner who wants help on your property, we encourage you to reach out via the landowner resources page!
