DESCRIPTION:Join Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group for a free workshop to survey vegetation at restoration sites! \nLearn how to:\n-identify native and invasive plants\n-assess plant health\n-estimate plant coverage \nWhy do vegetation monitoring?\nChecking up on the plants we’ve put in the ground helps us determine the success of revegetation projects. Monitoring past work helps make\nfuture work more effective! \nAfter training\, volunteers get to sign up to do a day of monitoring on at least one restoration planting site with SFEG staff and interns.\nRegister by June 5: outreach@skagitfisheries.org
