DESCRIPTION:Join Deception Pass Park Foundation and us for a planting party along a tributary to Pass Lake! \nLocation: Pass Lake\, Deception Pass State Park \nWhen: Saturday\, October 10 | 9 AM – 12 PM \nProject Goal: Deception Pass Park aims to create a mixed conifer forest around Pass Lake\, with the aim of revegetating 19.5 acres of the former hay fields surrounding the lake. This is your chance to make a lasting impact!  \nWhat to expect:  \n\nA fun morning planting in an area that has historically been overtaken by invasive plants\nSFEG will provide snacks and warm drinks \nSFEG will provide gloves and tools for planting \nStanding and walking for the time of the planting\n\nWhat to bring:  \n\nA good attitude!\nClothes for the weather – this event will take place rain or shine!\nWaterproof and sturdy shoes \n\nHow to register:  \n\nRegistration is required for each individual joining\, including minors. \nUnaccompanied minors must ensure the online registration form is filled out before the event. \n\nPlease note that since this event takes place in a State Park\, you will also need to sign a waiver when you arrive. \nIf you are a minor who will be joining WITHOUT a parent or guardian\, you must register both on our online registration form below\, AND you must bring the State Parks Event Participation Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. \n\n\n  \n\n \n  \n
