SUMMARY:Pressentin Park Planting Party
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Skagit County Parks and Recreation we’ll be planting native plants along the new side channel at Pressentin Park.  As this park will be closed through next June\, this and future volunteer events this fall are the only opportunities for the public to get a sneak peek at the new features of the park\, including the restored Chinook channel. \nGloves and tools will be provided.  Covid-19 safety policy:  SFEG will provide hand sanitizer for volunteers\, and will sanitize all frequently touched surfaces.  Volunteers are encouraged to keep a mask handy at all times but\, per Washington State Covid-19 guidelines\, volunteers are not required to wear a mask while volunteering outdoors.  \nAll ages welcome. \nParking for this event is located at 59924 SR 20 in Marblemount.
