DESCRIPTION:Join us\, North Cascades Institute\, Skagit Land Trust\, Skagit Audubon Society\, and Washington Native Plants Society\, for an in-person speaker talk and visual presentation by wildlife ecologist\, podcaster\, and filmmaker Chris Morgan. \n\n\n\n\nChris will share stunning stories\, photographs\, and film from a life spent among bears and other wild creatures — leaving audiences inspired\, entertained\, and hopeful about what we can do together for people and planet. Learn more about Chris. \nThis event is free for the public thanks to the following fiscal sponsors: the City of Mount Vernon\, North Cascades Institute\, Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group\, Skagit Audubon\, Skagit Land Trust\, and Washington Native Plant Society — Salal Chapter. \nAlthough the event is free\, we do suggest a sliding scale contribution of $10-$20 per person if you have the means. There will also be an option to donate cash (or online through a QR code) at the event\, if you prefer. \nDoors open at 4pm. Please note: advance registration is required — unregistered guests will not be admitted. \n\n  \nRegistration for this event opens Thursday\, August 27th at 10 AM.
