AmeriCorps volunteer Maya Carlisle documents the presence of chum salmon in Jones Creek as part of our yearly spawner surveys.  Volunteers are crucial to this ongoing effort.


Volunteers are the backbone of Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group. We recruit and educate volunteers to achieve our goal of increased public awareness for salmon enhancement. All volunteer projects are based on education through hands-on activities. Opportunities exist for volunteers of all ages and in all seasons.
