Cedar Grove Community Meeting

January 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

cedargrovecommunitymeetingflyerfinal

The Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group (SFEG), received funding from the Salmon Recovery Funding Board in 2015 to develop designs for replacing an undersized culvert on the north end of Cedar Grove Avenue with a structure that provides fish passage for juvenile salmon and restores floodplain processes. Cedar Grove Avenue provides public access to Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s (WDFW) Cedar Grove on the Skagit property.  SFEG, WDFW, and Skagit County Parks and Public Works have collaborated to develop a design that would improve public access to the site while restoring fish habitat. We are seeking input from community members on this possible future project.  Your participation will help guide our planning process and ensure a design that is good for both fish and people.
