Welcome New Board Members
By Lucy Applegate

We would like to extend a warm welcome to new Board members, elected at our Annual Membership Meeting in February. We are proud to have the following great additions to our group: Dan Ballard, volunteer with the Skagit River Stewards; Bob Carey, The Nature Conservancy's Skagit River Program Manager; Bruce Freet, former Chief of Resource Management at North Cascades National Park; Jeanne Glick, a local business owner, landowner and active volunteer; Steve Hopley, a former commercial fisherman and active volunteer; Tim Hyatt, a biologist for the Nooksack Indian Tribe; and we welcome back Dave Beatty, retired professor of zoology and past Board President with SFEG. We are excited to have a growing and diverse board of directors to lead us through the next year of salmon recovery efforts. Each Board member brings unique insights and experiences to the organization. If you would like to learn more about our board members, please visit our web page at www.skagitfisheries.org. Welcome a-Board!
