Riparian Planting Projects

 

This program combines a classroom presentation to explain salmon biology and habitat requirements and the importance of riparian zones. After this introduction, field trips can be arranged to a local restoration site to involve students in streamside planting while learning about habitat restoration techniques used to help local salmon streams.
